Expert Power Control 8021-1

4-fold switched PDU for increase in operational safety and energy efficiency in IT networks

The latest generation of Switched Power Distribution Units (PDUs) provides all the flexibility and convenience needed to manage devices in a 19-inch cabinet: Switching, metering, controlling & monitoring.

Expert Power Control 8021-1 enables switching and metering of electrical appliances through TCP/IP network, serial interface or mobile device app. The rear panel disposes of 4 load outlets IEC C13 (max. 10 A). These Power Ports are individually switchable through web interface, serial interface, SNMP or a button directly on the device. Moreover SNMPv3, SSL, IPv6, Telnet, Radius and Modbus TCP support are incorporated.

Expert Power Control 8021-1 disposes of two energy meters. Various electrical dimensions are measured on the supply line and enable users to identify and exploit power-saving potential in the their IT environment. In addition, responsibles receive warning messages when fault currents occur (residual current measurement type A). This allows preventive maintenance even before downtime.

  • Metering of energy, current, power factor, phase angle, frequency, voltage and active / apparent / reactive power
