Expert Power Control 8226-1
12-fold switched PDU with integrated current metering and monitoring per load outlet
Expert Power Control 8226-1 enables switching and metering of electrical appliances through TCP/IP network or serial interface. The rear panel disposes of 12 load outlets (max. 10 A). These Power Ports are individually switchable through web interface, serial interface, SNMP or a button directly on the device. SNMPv3, SSL, IPv6, Telnet, Radius and Modbus TCP support are incorporated.
Six Power Ports each of Expert Power Control 8226-1 are pooled into one bank. Both banks as well as each load outlet dispose of two energy meters each. Various electrical dimensions are measured on the supply lines. Two seperate supply lines enable switching of 32 A resp. 7500 W (dual circuit). Sensor interfaces allow monitoring of ambient temperature, humidity and air pressure by optional available sensors. Connected consumers can be switched by an IP watchdog through configured sensor or energy metering thresholds.

Expert Power Control 8226-1
Benefits
- 12 load outlets in 1 rack unit
- 2 independent banks of 6 load outlets
- Total switching power: 7500 W
- Energy metering per bank and per load outlet
- 2 interfaces for optional sensors
- Port switching also by set sensor thresholds
- IPv6, SNMPv3, SSL, Telnet, Radius, Modbus TCP
Features
- 12 Power Ports individually switchable directly on the device, via HTTP, command line tool and RS232 serial interface
- 2 energy meters per bank and per port, one meter continuously, the other resettable
- Metering of energy, current, power factor, phase angle, frequency, voltage and active / apparent / reactive power
- Latency time of 1 second prevents simultaneous power-up of multiple Power Ports
- Paired switching of outlets possible, e.g. output 1 of bank 1 simultaneously with output 1 of bank 2
- Status and power-up delay individually adjustable for each Power Port after power blackout (0...9999 seconds)
- Programmable turn-on/turn-off sequence (batch mode) enabling automatic switching of Power Ports to previous state after configurable time period
- Previous state of Power Ports can be automatically restored after reboot of device
- 12-channel watchdog, an individual watchdog (ICMP/TCP) can be assigned for each Power Port
- 2 independent power inputs of 230 V for the same or different phases
- A clearly visible LED display per bank for total current, IP address, sensor data and error reports
- Dedicated high-inrush relays avoid welding of relay contacts at start-up peaks
- 2 interfaces for optional sensors for environmental monitoring (see Accessories)
- Port switching possible by configured sensor thresholds by IP watchdog
- Internal beeper for acoustic alarm for set sensor thresholds
- Integrated overvoltage protection prevents damage of device and connected consumers (L-N 10 kA)
- Free Android App and iPhone App allow access from anywhere
- Low internal power consumption, max. 7 W
- Developed and manufactured in Germany
Network
- Dynamic IP address allocation by DHCP or manual allocation with static IP address
- IPv6-ready
- Firmware update over Ethernet during operations (without reboot of device or load outlets)
- HTTP/HTTPS, e-mail (SSL, STARTTLS)
- SNMPv1, v2c, v3 (Get/Traps)
- TLS 1.0, 1.1, 1.2
- Syslog support
- IP Access Control List
- Secure login through SSL
- Configuration and control via Telnet possible
- Radius and Modbus TCP support
- Comfortable configuration by web browser, Windows or Linux tool
- 10/100 Mbit/s
