How do I start?

All network-enabled GUDE products are delivered with activated DHCP. Please connect your device to your network and afterwards to the power grid. Now your router will provide the device with an unassigned IP address. You can retrieve this IP address either from your router or via the GBL-Conf tool. After starting this program, please select the menu item Search.

All GUDE products will be listed. Select your device in order to get an overview of all network parameters under Network Configuration.

Do I have access to my devices through Internet?

All network-compatible products of Gude, that are connected to your network, can be  accessed through Internet.

Following requirements need to be met:

  1. Device is connected to the network and accessible
  2. Your network is connected to the Internet
  3. Your network disposes of a fixed IP address or a DynDNS account
  4. A port forwarding to your device is installed

What kind of relays are integrated?

All switched PDUs (Expert Power Control) as well as Expert Net Control 2301 dispose of particular, so-called high-inrush relays. These relays are designed to withstand also high start-up peaks.
